Now, that is possible with this cute little EAM-UMLP2C-D.

Do-It-Yourself : Atari 800 XE Laptop Hack
Sunday, December 17, 2006

Back in 1996, I have a die-hard-cartridge-like gamers friend who every days was talking ATARI this and that. That time me really know little at first about the console untill I found out, I'm "part" of him, suddenly. Don't know how, but anyhow... featured here, el creativo Mr Ben DIY atari-notebook project which really cool inisiative though.
Can't find the total cost of this project, but I truely believe that won't hurt much if compare with a brand new Wii of PS3. :)
I'll try to contact my 1996 pal, if he interested or not. Enjoy.
